Welcome to Halifax Community Church! If you’re considering a visit, we’d like to help you along. First, no matter what your background, experience, or situation, you’re welcome here. We know it can be intimidating to visit a new place, so we want to help you to be as comfortable as possible when you join us for weekend worship.

What will you find when you visit HCC? Friendly people. A vibrant ministry to kids and students. A relevant message. A life-changing mission. We don’t have it all figured out. We’re not a perfect church. But, it’s our greatest desire to do all we can do to honor God and love the people he brings into our midst. We hope you’ll join us.

Where to Park and Enter

You can access our Church from Rise Street, turn by the cemetery onto School Street which turns into Wind Hill Drive and follow the road to HCC. You may also use the Halifax Area School Entrance. When using school entrance, simply enter, turn right, and circle to the back of the school. You will see our church steeple.

Depending on your choice in worship, you might prefer one service over the other. Our music and flow of worship may be a little different, but our sermon series and messages are identical in both.

9:00 AM Traditional Service:
In this service, you'll find a more traditional atmosphere where we sing hymns along with an organ.

10:30 AM Contemporary Service:
If you attend this service, you'll experience a more modern atmosphere, where we sing some contemporary songs you might hear on popular Christian radio. We also sing to a band which typically include guitar, piano/keyboard, drums, and a few vocalists.
